Pretty simple project, and a fun way to blow through expensive 10mm ammo even faster. I got the original instructions from this post. Though that guy says he fit 33 rounds, the most I can manage with the Glock factory speed loader is 32, though there seems to be room left in the mag. I think cutting down the spring could fit a few extra rounds but I don't want to risk any potential feeding issues.
i'm curious why none of the other manufacturers has made a factory 30+ round magazine the way glock has (and further why glock hasn't released similar capacity mags for the rest of their caliber options). the number of 33rd mags sold vs the number of glock 18s produced would have to show that the mags are going to glock 19/17 owners. it seems as though the market potential is obvious (granted yourself and that arctic team would own the roughly six or seven 10mm pistols ever sold, but a 45 acp and .40 would be viable products). i would expect S&W to offer similar magazines for the M&P lineup. any ideas?
